Our story
Botanicum opens on Via San Pietro, in the heart of Trento’s old town. Beneath it lies an old cellar of pointed gothic arches: those shapes gave the brand its name and its logo.
Wooden shelves, rows of jars and the scent of tea as you step in. Here nothing hides in a sealed pack: you see it, smell it and have it weighed on the spot, in the amount you want.

Aroma hunters for years, they taste, compare and hand-pick every tea, infusion and spice, weighing harvests and origins one by one: only what truly convinces them reaches the shelf. Their experience is what guides you toward the right blend, or something new to discover.

Yes, in our Trento shop you will find Japanese powdered matcha, from everyday to ceremonial grade. We will show you how to prepare it.
Many teas and infusions are organic and come from selected suppliers. We mark it for each item, so you can choose with confidence.
Of course, at the counter you smell the aromas, and in our basement tasting room we hold guided tastings of teas, infusions and spices.
